React Native and Expo
React Native and Expo are part of our mobile development toolkit. We work through the decisions around application structure, navigation and integration with existing services, alongside the day-to-day work of building the interface.
We consider the mobile experience on its own terms: how people move through the product, how it behaves on different screens and how it fits alongside the web application.
Shared interfaces with Tamagui and One
Our experience with Tamagui and One informs how we approach shared components, design systems and application structure across web and native.
Tamagui supports a common approach to styling and interface components. One brings web and native applications into a shared framework. We use that experience to judge what should be shared and where a platform-specific implementation is more appropriate.

A maintainable foundation
Shared foundations need clear boundaries. We pay attention to how interface components, application logic and platform-specific behaviour fit together, so that improvements on one platform do not make another harder to maintain.
